Two years ago,

I took a bold—but let’s be honest, some might say a slightly crazy one— and founded Advising Puerto Rico. The mission was to help businesses thrive with clarity, strategy, and purpose, and that mission hasn’t changed. But as we celebrate our second anniversary, I find myself reflecting on something even deeper: the power of endurance, the impact of a shared vision, and the beauty of transformation (yes, even the kind that comes with lots of coffee and late nights).

This past year wasn’t just about growing a business; it was about witnessing transformation. Businesses that once faced uncertainty are now moving forward with confidence. Entrepreneurs who sought direction are now leading with clarity. Dreams that once seemed distant are now turning into reality.

And now, a new chapter begins—one where my experience isn’t just shaping businesses but also empowering the next generation of leaders. Over these two years, I’ve had the privilege of not only advising businesses but also mentoring young entrepreneurs and guiding CEOs as they scale. The lessons I’ve learned (both the expected and the what-in-the-world-just-happened kind) have become a source of wisdom I now pass on to others. Through every challenge, every learning curve, and every breakthrough, one thing remains clear—this journey is about more than finance or strategy. It’s about people. It’s about purpose. It’s about making a lasting impact.

Lessons from Year Two

If Year One was about building the foundation, this second year has been about deepening roots and expanding reach (also learning that I can, in fact, function on less sleep):

📌 Growth is more than numbers. True success isn’t just about financial gains—it’s about the confidence, stability, and freedom that business owners gain along the way.

📌 Challenges are inevitable, but resilience is a choice. Every setback carries a lesson, and those willing to learn (instead of running away screaming) come out stronger.

📌 Impact multiplies through collaboration. Alone, we can only do so much. But when businesses unite under a shared vision of ethical, purpose-driven success, the ripple effect is undeniable.

📌 Experience is meant to be shared. There is no greater privilege than using the lessons I’ve learned—both in my own business and from guiding others—to mentor the next generation of entrepreneurs and help CEOs scale with purpose.

This year has shown me that growth isn’t just about what we achieve, but how we empower others to grow with us.
